As a fellow hockey player, I really enjoyed putting this project together. The Club President wanted something substantial with a gloss cover which would be a fitting publication to celebrate the club’s centenary.
Basing the design around the club colours of blue and yellow, I used coloured pages to add interest, differentiate sections and highlight club personalities through the years. By using little post-it notes dotted through the text, I was able to add little vignettes which would otherwise have got lost amongst the body of text, while using a ragged paper effect allowed me to highlight newspaper articles.
