UI Design: Wireframing and prototyping
I designed, wireframed and prototyped the below app for a takeaway coffee business. Basing the brand on a logo/brand refresh I completed a couple of years ago, I thoroughly enjoyed taking that rebrand to the next level to imagine how this could be used in a modern and customer-focused way to broaden the offering of the business.

UI Design: Apps in action
Like to have play? Feel free on the demos below. I can't promise you'll get an actual coffee at the end of it, but hopefully you'll get the gist of design and functionality! From quick add to browsing each coffee individually, the user journey is demonstrated from the home screen right through to order confirmation.

The second example shows a Quick Guide I created for my hockey club. Written originally (by me) on a white letterheaded-A4 page designed for printing out (proper old school!), I have updated it to make it much more user-friendly: now a quick link share enables the new player to have important club info at their fingertips, and designed for mobile-first on a dark background gives a much more modern, up-to-date feel. Incidentally, I also designed the new club crest on show here for our centenary celebrations in 2022.
